Overview[ | ]

Weapon Enchantments are unique enchantments equippable in the Weapon Enhancement Slot in many high-level Main Hand Weapons.

Since Mod 22, the Weapon Enchantments have been rendered obsolete and cannot be equipped on weapons, but now as a special fashion item called Visual Effect, and the Weapon Enhancement Slot has been removed from weapon to be converted into a Weapon Visual Slot, in the Appearance Tab.

Shards[ | ]

Shards are fragments of weapon enchantments that can be upgraded into usable enchantments when combining 10 of them. It's recommended to use Ward's, preferably a [Coalescent Mote], since there is only a 1% for success. Alternatively, it will take 150x [Preservation Ward]'s if you continue to fail the 1% chance to automatically upgrade.

[Brilliant Energy Enchantment], [Bronzewood Enchantment, Rank 8], and [Dread Enchantment, Rank 7] are the only Weapon Enchantments without shards.

The Holy Vorpal Enchantment, Rank 9/Tooltip is a visual reskin of the standard Vorpal enchantment.

Illusions[ | ]

Since the release of Mod 22, all Weapon Echantments have been rendered obsolete and can no longer be equipped.

However, their special visual effect can be converted into a fashion Visual Effect, called "Illusion", that can be equipped in a separate fashion slot. As such, the Weapon Enhancement slot has been removed from all weapons to be converted into a Weapon Visual Slot, in the Appearance Tab.

After the release of Mod 22, upon first logging with a character, the equipped Weapon Enchantement on that character are removed and converted into their matching Illusion, then send to the character as a mail.

Beside, all the Old Weapon Enchantment that are rank 8 or higher can be traded for the matching Illusion at the Antiquities Dealer in Protector's Enclave.
- Any Old Weapon Enchantment or their Shards can still be upgraded through refining, then traded as Illusion upon being upgraded to Rank 8 or above.

Illusions can be equipped and removed without restriction or cost, can be safety-locked and cannot have character or account bounds, meaning they can be traded among players or the Tarmalune Trade House, unless they are part of a Pack (in which case they may be account bound).

They also can be stacked, but equipping an Illusion will equip all of its stacks to the character. However, removing it back to inventory will return the same amount of the Illusion, without any losses.

Also, special Weapon Echantment such as Floral Vorpal can also be acquired as an Illusion.

(The Brilliant Energy Illusion is a special case. Previously available in the Champion of the North Pack, the Illusion was awarded if the Enchantement was equipped and converted after the first login of a character, and is account bound. Also, the Illusion have yet to be obtainable again by any possessor of the Pack, since the Delzoun Weapon is now awarded without its Enhancement Slot, and have yet to be awarded as a stand-alone item.)
