The Need for Mead is a daily quest in Caer-Konig unlocked by completing the "Hook, Line, and Sinker II" Icewind Dale Campaign task.
The objective is to defeat raiders and their allies, while protecting the Caer-Konig guards.
There is also a chance for a Rampaging Yeti to appear. The Rampaging Yeti drops the Yeti Treat that can be given to the Young Yeti in the Hook, Line, and Sinker tavern. If the Young Yeti is impressed by the treat, the Young Yeti will be acquired as a companion.
