If you don't mind helping me with a small matter of honor, I'll head back to old Steelhelm. I got careless and let one of those big Eyes of Gruumsh stick me in the gut. It's just a flesh wound, but he got away. Now he can tell all his orc toadies that he stabbed Gord Roundshield and lived!

He calls himself he Black Eye and stands vigil over a Shrine to Gruumsh west of Merchant Square. If you set fire to his shrine, I guarantee he'll show himself. Kill him, and I'll leave the rest of these orcs for later.

I would suggest doing this quest after the sewer crawl. I went to the shrine the first time and nothing was there. I decided to do the sewer crawl and went back. I was then able to burn the shrine. Easy take down and leads into another quest.

4/20/2020 I just completed this quest--I tried to do the Black Eye quest before the Sewer Crawl. The quest path led to the shrine but there was no way to ignite the shrine (no press F to interact). I then left the shrine and completed the Sewer Crawl and spoke to the quest-giver to finish the quest. I did not accept the two additional quests at that time. Instead I went back to the Black Eye shrine, and there was a Press F to Interact option.

7/18/2020 - I also encountered the bug where you cannot interact with the shrine. I just exited to the Character Select screen while next to the the Shrine, then logged back in. It then let me interact with the Shrine to set it on fire to trigger the final battle.

10-28-2020 Before you can do this quest and complete it; you MUST do The Eyes Have It quest first. Once that quest is complete hail the dwarf and you will then be able to complete this quest and burn the shrine.
