Forge Away (Weaponsmithing) is a Masterwork Professions quest that unlocks Weaponsmithing recipes. Your Weaponsmithing must be rank 25 and your Stronghold Guild Hall must be at least rank 10 to take this quest.

Objective

• Complete Weaponsmithing Tasks for The Artisan.

Once training begins you may not begin training another profession until it is complete. Training can be time consuming and expensive, do not begin training unless you are certain of your choice.

First I need to see the starting line, bring me five hundred [Adamantine Weapon Blades] and two hundred and fifty [Ebony Weapon Hafts].

Ah yes, not bad, Adventurer, the temper on these blades is first rate, they're quite sturdy. I can see you've earned your reputation. Don't get your head in the clouds though, you've still got a long way to go.

Regardless, this should cover The Steward's orders for the next few months. What, you didn't think I'd get nothing out of this for myself, did you?

For your next task, I want you to pour your heart into a finished product, three finished products to be precise. Bring me a [Gemmed Guardian's Elemental Longsword], a [Gemmed Hunter's Elemental Longbow], and a [Gemmed Champion's Elemental Greatsword].

The attention to detail? Superb. The construction? Formidable. The underlying materials, however, leave something to be desired. You no doubt began with the purest samples of adamantine ore and the straightest pieces of ebony lumber, but therein lies the problem. It is not always the purest metal or the straightest lumber that will yield the best result.

In fact, it is often the very impurities themselves that will help shape a material into the sharpest edge or the strongest limb. The right tool for the right job doesn't hurt either.
