I feel so awful, dear! When the Cult of the Dragon's armies came to the outskirts of Evereska, they were snatching people out of their homes to take as sacrifices to their dragon goddess, Tiamat.

We had set up the Temple of the Full Moon inside the city as a safe refuge. At first, all was good. The city was defensible, and the guards were able to fend off the attackers. Then I made a mistake.

In all the commotion, I heard something about the "Wearers of Purple," and "Dragons," and I may have mistook that for "Purple Dragon Knights." It was an honest mistake, really! So please believe me when I say that it was with the best intentions of leading our people to the safety of Cormyr's greatest champions, and not willingly opening the gates so our enemies could easily bypass our defenses.

I don't suppose you could help me out by rescuing some of those people, especially the ones gathered on the outside of the camp? I've heard that those are the ones they plan to sacrifice soon, so the quicker, the better! May Sehanine Moonbow guide you swiftly and safely!
