'Yester Hill is the Big Heroic Encounter (BHE) that appears West of the village Barovia in Ravenloft.

Engage the Denizens of Yester Hill Gather an army to stop the corrupted druids from raising Thornspur.
Steps[ | ]
Thornspur protected in circle
- Once anything is attacked within the circle a percentage bar will appear. This bar is the twig blights feeding Thornspur damage resistance up to 50%. The 15 minute combat timer starts at this point.
- Kill 50 twig blights to prevent the damage resistance.
- Druids are empowering Thornspur with 150% health. The faster the druids are killed, the less health Thornspur has in the final phase.
- Final phase is Thornspur himself rises up and attacks, minions defend him such as; druids, berserkers, and corrupted roots appear to circle him.

To complete this encounter the boss Thornspur must be defeated within the remaining time allowed. After the encounter is completed a hidden "cool down" timer will have the event respawn 60 minutes later in the same instance.

Strategy[ | ]
Attacking anything within the circle or any of the Twig Blights standing around in the near woods directly or indirectly (e.g. Aura of Radiance) will start the encounter.
Slowing the Twig Blights down or stopping them gives the group more time for killing them. Players with any Item Level can accomplish this task.
Unless your group is really well coordinated and fast in killing all casting druids, it might help to have some players interrupt/disable them as soon as they spawn.
