Halas the Pure

Halas the Pure

Objective[ | ]

Enter the Crypt of Vigilance and slay Halas the Pure.

Summary[ | ]

Dassar Truebow
After you defeated the Shepherd of the Damned, the Ashmadai turned to other schemes. Their attempts to summon more devils and corrupt the Shields of Helm were all intended to help them desecrate the Crypt of Vigilance, an ancient tomb for heroes who perished in Helm's service.

The cult leader is an evil cleric called "Halas the Pure". Slay him, and secure the safe rest of the honored dead.

Steps[ | ]

  • Go to Crypt of Vigilance
    • Defeat Halas the Pure
  • Return to Dassar Truebow

Dialogue[ | ]

At entrance:

Helm Paladin Ghost
Beware, Adventurer, for Ashmadai cultists have invaded our sacred resting place!

I sense you are here to drive them out, however, many of my fellow spirits will be unable to tell you apart from the enemy. They may even block your path until you prove your intentions. I wish I could aid you further, but with Helm gone, we spirits are but memories of our former glory. Good luck.

After saving Paladin ghosts:

Helm Paladin Ghost
You have proven yourself by saving the ghosts of my fellow paladins from the Ashmadai.

You have my thanks, and I shall open the way down for you so that you may take the battle to their leader, Halas the Pure.

Completion[ | ]

Dassar Truebow
Excellent work! This should greatly curtail cultist activity outside the walls limiting their spread of evil beyond Helm's Hold. At the rate you're going, we just may be able to retake this city.
