The Harpers and the Zhentarim have been working on deciphering various cult messages. There seems to be numerous references to the "Far-scryers" in Thunderhead Reach, although we're not sure why.If you can go to Thunderhead Reach and examine the Far-Scryers, we can get a better idea of what they're talking about.
