General definition: Rubberbanding occurs in online gaming when latency is high. Yourself, other players, NPCs will appear to move in one direction, and then suddenly be teleported back or sideways, several feet where they once were a few seconds ago.
In Neverwinter, rubberbanding will sometimes occur in Protector's Enclave. To avoid it, it is recommended to switch to an instance that is less populated.
