There are 15 different kinds of traps currently ingame as of Patch: NW.1.20130416a.19

They are categorized into 8 different types; Arrows, Arrow Bank, Floor Vent, Darts, Dart Bank, Spike, Blade, and Spear.
Traps are triggered by both human players and monsters, so it is a common tactic especially by Trickster Rogues (who can see traps before they go off) to lure enemies into them.
  • Arrows:

Arrow Trap (Normal Arrows), Arrow Trap (Poison Arrow)
Fires a single normal arrow at the player. One arrow slot, one trigger plate. Poison Arrow Trap applies a poison on the player, acting as a Damage over Time (DoT) for a short period.

  • Arrow Banks:

  • Floor Vents:

  • Acid fog slows you for a short period.
  • Poison cloud adds a poison DoT on your character for a short period.
  • Both Disease and Steam have no additional effects.
