- Talk to Private Wilfred
- Private Wilfred is standing on the beach to the west. Simply walk over and talk to him.
- Select one of the dialogue options, and then choose "Thanks, I will."
- Search the Wreckage For Gear

- Head southwest from Private Wilfred until you find a large crate on its side with its contents spilled out.
- Search the spilled contents to find some class-appropriate armor.
- Search the Wreckage For Gear
- <class-appropriate weapon>
- Move to the opened crate just to the southwest. Search this to gain a class-appropriate weapon.
- Search the Wreckage For Gear
- <second class-appropriate weapon>
- Depending on your class, you may have to retrieve a second weapon from the crate.

- Go to the Camp
- Follow the passage up through the rocky ascent until you reach the camp.
- Heal at the Campfire
- Enter the blue circle around the campfire and stay there until healed.
- Talk to Lt. Linkletter
- He is located north of the campfire. Talk to him to turn in the quest.
