Objective[edit | edit source]

  • Recover Bruenor Battlehammer's Helm in the Ashmadai Lair.

Summary[edit | edit source]

Captain Belgold
Our scouts have found the Thayan wizard, Candelaria. She's made a lair for herself in Mount Hotenow.

I'll mark the location on your map. I wish I could be there to help you, but my place is here within Neverwinter.

Good luck, and let's hope that Moradin's blessing doesn't have an expiration date

Steps[edit | edit source]

  • Go to Ashmadai Lair
  • Recover the Helm of Bruenor Battlehammer
    • Fight Through the Ashmadai to Reach Candelaria
    • Defeat Candelaria
    • Recover Bruenor Battlehammer's Helm
    • Return to Pwent in Gauntlygrym
    • Give Pwent Bruenor's Helm
  • Return to Captain Belgold

Dialogue[edit | edit source]

Thibbledorf Pwent
Ye found it! I can smell it on ye! Oh, ye're a hero for sure. Glad I'll be to put this thing back where it belongs! Did ye kill that witch?
Player
She's dead.
Thibbledorf Pwent
Think her curse will stand up to the might o' Moradin, Dumathoin and Clangeddin? I'm thinkin' to use the throne to purify it.
Player
I'm not even sure the curse survived her death.
Thibbledorf Pwent
Good enough, then! I'll put it on the throne just in case.

Yer help won't be forgotten. Ye helped restore me as the Steward o' Gauntlgrym.

Me drow vampire minions are still on the loose, but it's not somethin' that I cannae handle.

Ye should go get yerself some rest, <name>.

Player
Good luck, Pwent.

Completion[edit | edit source]

Captain Belgold
So, Candelaria is no more, and Pwent has Bruenor's helm? I suppose that's good, but I'd like to have a few scouts keep an eye on the dwarf from now on.

Pwent claims he has control over the curse, but Candelaria took control of him pretty easily, from what you said.

I know you've done a lot for us, but I need your help with another dwarven-related issue. One of our soldiers has gone missing.
