Preservation Wards are purchasable in packs of 10x from the Zen Market. A single Binds on Pickup Preservation Ward may also be the result of opening a [Coffer of Celestial Enchantments], a [Coffer of Celestial Artifacts], or a [Coffer of Celestial Artifact Equipment] which can be purchaded for 11. During the Winter Festival it is also a random drop from a [Starlight Parcel] or [Starlight Bag].

The Preservation Ward can be used when upgrading Enchantment to prevent the loss of reagents, should the upgrade process fail. In this case, the player loses the Preservation Ward instead of the reagents. If the upgrade process succeeds, the Preservation Ward will not be consumed.
