Cerion Haldoreth
Long ago, the kingdom of Illefarn stretched out for hundreds of miles, encompassing even the city of Neverwinter. Humans settling here was… acceptable. But orcs invading this deep into our ancient land? A travesty.
I have spoken to the captain and offered aid. Elven archers are prepared to assist in the defense of the Tower District, but we must choose our positions carefully.
Take these beacons and place them at the points I've marked on your map. An archer will arrive at each beacon, though you'll have to protect the beacon from orcs until they arrive. Are you prepared for the task?

Walkthrough[ | ]
- Collect the Elf Beacons
- Go to Cerion who is southwest of Captain Janros in the Neverwinter Guard Post.
- After accepting the quest, pick up the beacons that are on the table next to him.
- Activate and Defend the North Beacon
- To place the North Beacon, head southeast and then turn right between two buildings and follow the quest path to the first beacon site.
- After placing the beacon, you will fight two orc patrols. The first patrol consists of 4 Orc drudges and the second patrol consists of 2 Drudges and 2 Orc Axe Throwers.
- Activate and Defend the East Beacon
- To place the East Beacon, head southwest through Merchant Square and follow the quest path to the second beacon site.
- After placing the beacon, you will fight two orc patrols. The first patrol consists of 4 Orc drudges and the second patrol consists of 2 Drudges and 2 Orc Axe Throwers.
- Activate and Defend the South Beacon
- To place the South Beacon, head to the farthest southwest corner of Merchant Square and follow the quest path to the third beacon site.
- After placing the beacon, you will fight two orc patrols. The first patrol consists of 4 Orc drudges and the second patrol consists of 2 Drudges and 2 Orc Axe Throwers. I think there is also an Ogre Savage in the second patrol for the last beacon.
- Return to Cerion Haldoreth
- Turn in the quest.
