Neverwinter is the jewel of the North, famed far and wide as the city of Skilled Hands. Though reduced to ruin in the cataclysmic eruption of Mount Hotenow, it now is reborn under the glorious rule of Lord Neverember of Waterdeep.

Over twenty years ago, Mount Hotenow exploded in a great volcanic blast. Much of Neverwinter was ruined, whether split by rents in the ground, burned by lava, or crushed beneath rock. Most of Neverwinter's citizens died or fled. Now that the Lord Protector is here, the city is reborn, and we are encouraged to look back on the cataclysm not as an end, but as a beginning!

How does the city's reconstruction proceed?

The city's reconstruction goes well. The old City Core has been reborn as the Protector's Enclave, and already our eyes turn to other districts. Great work has already been done in the Beggar's Nest, the Docks, and beyond. Soon all of Neverwinter will be restored to it's former glory, and then to new heights!

Strange creatures known as Foulspawn assaulted the city.
While numerous patrols halted the foe beyond the walls, it was at the Sleeping Dragon bridge where the enemy struck hardest. The Protector's forces faced numerous foulspawn but carried the day with the aid of worthy adventurers.
