You do me a great service coming to my homeland like this. Most Warlocks are not quite so... eager.

Yes, Belial. I respect you and the power you grant me, but I want more.

Belial

Now let us dispense with the pleasantries and get down to business.

You have come far since our first contact, <name> - much further than others of your kind. Though you choose to use your power for some perverted sense of heroism, you have held to our bargain and you do not fail to sate my hunger for the pain and suffering of others.

For your efforts, I have bestowed upon you all the power your frail mortal soul can handle. However, I find it only fair to present you with an opportunity to prove me wrong.

I present two options:

Your friend, Coralyssa, has incurred a debt with me which she cannot repay. I will allow you to collect it for me by killing her and reaping her soul. Her power will be diminished, so it should be an easy kill for you.

Or, you can retain your sense of... morality, and spare her life. However, you must face off against one of my particularly disloyal Pit Fiend lieutenants. Per our former agreement, I will not directly aid in your death. Rather, I will ensure you do not perish until well after you defeat this petulant brute. The pain and suffering you endure as you struggle for your life should be nearly enough to repay Coralyssa's debt.

Player

1. Coralyssa has broken her contract and must be punished. She taught me this, so it's only fitting I carry out the order to kill her.

2.Coralyssa has made a dire mistake, but an early death is a steep price. I will take punishment in her stead, and fight your Pit Fiend.

Belial (if option 1 or 2 is chosen)

Player (if option 1 was chosen)

1. No. Perhaps I'm being too harsh on Coralyssa.

2. Yes, I will kill Coralyssa and collect her debt to you.

Player (if option 2 was chosen)

1. No. I'm not sure I should be paying for Coralyssa's failures.

2. Yes, I do not wish to tread down a dark path by killing my tutor. Bring on the Pit Fiend..

Impressive. I didn't think you had it in you, but you've proven me wrong once again. Perhaps you are destined for greater power.

Take this cloak, and heed my warnings you will wear it as a reminder of your pact with me, and know this: should you every start to think you have outgrown my influence, I can snatch it away from you faster than you can utter a curse. Our pact will be rendered null, and your soul will belong to me.

Walkthrough

• Speak to Coralyssa
• Enter Portal to Manifestation of Phlegethos spawned directly next to Coralyssa.
• Inside, fight your way to Belial.
• Talk to Belial
• Defeat Coralyssa or Pit Fiend Lieutenant.
• Collect reward from Belial, then leave through exit portal.
